The giant ship swayed gently on the open sea. The bell on the top of the mass gently gave out a slow 'dong' that resinated throughout the hull of the old oak wood. Thantos was sitting on the railing of the ship looking up at the night sky. It was a clear brilliant night. There were no candles or lights of any sort that shone besides the stars. It was a new moon so the vast amount of stars shone clearly. He was wrapped in a long black cloak with a hood. He gently smoked on a pipe gazing into the nothingness of the ocean.

Rio sat on the railing as well, on the higher level of the ship, directly above him. she watched him smiling slightly to herself, as if she knew some secret mystery.

Thantos started to walk down the side of the ship trying to find a place to sit and possibly find something to eat.

Lana gazed down at the two figures from her seat on one of the mast's polls. Shaking her head she went back to cleaning her sword quietly.

Rio jumped down with an agile skip, as she drew alongside Thantos she smiled brightly at him, "hello." she said simply. Her whole walk whispered like an unknown dance to a silent melody.

He glanced at her as if he knew she was coming. "I was wondering when you would join me." He noted her interesting style of movement, it was interiging.

He looked at her interestingly. "Possibly.. But that doesn't mean I have to be." He stopped again and looked over the edge of the rail.

She smirked, "Well," she stared at the stars and sighed, "The stars are not quite as clear here as they are in my homeland." in her voice a slight accent could be detected, "During the nights, the moon would reflect of the sands and would light up my home with such a brilliance." She smiled. "Ah but my home did not have this much water, the waves make such a gorgous sound, yes?"

Chuckling to herself Lana got up re-seathing (sp? i forget) her swords, "The stars are dim, that is true." She said down to the figures, "Ah, but the sea, has never been more beautiful." She said more to herself then to the others.

"I am from the Great Desert." She listened to the cadence of the waves, her voice unconciously sounding like a melody along with the water, "I am human." She said ina simple tone, "but I am also not human." She looked up to Lana smiling at her, waving slightly.
